Executive Buddies is a support service designed for middle school students who struggle with executive functioning skills such as organization, planning, time management, and task initiation. The program pairs students with trained college students ("Buddies") who provide consistent, structured support with homework, planning, and study skills.

By offering an affordable, relatable, and structured solution, Executive Buddies bridges the gap between school-based supports and costly private executive functioning coaching. Our goal is to help families build consistency, structure, and independence in their child’s academic life while fostering confidence and skill development.

Executive Buddies provides targeted academic and executive functioning support to students in grades 5–9. The program supports families who may be unable to provide consistent after-school academic support due to time constraints, competing responsibilities, or their own executive functioning challenges.

Our model is intentionally accessible and cost-effective, leveraging trained, responsible college students who guide younger peers in developing core organizational, planning, and study skills in a supportive and relatable manner.
